And here is Bev from MulchnMore, a shop were everything is still handmade

Meet Bev from MulchnMore. You will find in her shop here on Handmadeartists.com. You will find at MulchnMore hand spun yarn, hand dyed fibers, hand poured soy candles, wood- burned decor and knitted, felted items.
And those are just a few of the crafts that she does and plans to fill her store with. She has been a spinner and knitter for more than 40 years, the rest she developed over the last 10-20 years. Most crafters are are continually trying new things and Bev is not the exception.
Her husband and son may eventually have their own sections in her shop as they are also artists and join her at many of the craft shows during the season.
Come on in, look around in her shop MulchnMore and come back often.

I am in love with this handmade yarn…the colors are perfect and just my shade of pastel green

Like so, so many of us, Bev from MulchnMore has been a crafter for most of her life. She is enjoying
the opportunity that the internet is giving her to share her creations with the world. She learned to knit from her father of all things, whose grade school teacher had the class knitting scarves
for WWI soldiers!

Look at this “beautimus” felted hat….a color for the royals…..

She learned flax (linen) spinning from her Mom before she started her first job of demonstrating spinning and weaving in a museum. A few years down the line, she transitioned to spinning mohair and then wool – but the early lessons of controlling the amount of twist and maintaining a consistent gauge have remained while trying different fibers.

Here are some of her Soy Candles…..

The main theme of all her crafting endeavors have remained, she loves playing with colors and creating things that she would use myself. And that’s important to know about her. She still has other things/techniques/mediums that she wants to try, time permitting. And we are patiently waiting for the time when she comes up with them. In addition to her part-time job, she also does quite a few craft shows in Northern Michigan. She is a wife, mother and grandmother. As life continues, she is busier than ever, she states.

Another favor of mine is this item…..I love the brightness and cheeriness of this wool….
