| I spent 20 years in accounting jobs. After a lay-off, I decided to stay home with my daughter who was in middle school. Once she became a senior in high school, I began to think about my career again. I made my daughter a long feather earring for senior prom. All the girls loved it and my career in jewelry began! I did the prom fashion show at the high school which included Ooak wrap bracelets, necklaces, & feather earrings. Shortly after this I found Artfire.com. I setup my first shop on Artfire & then a month later setup a shop on Etsy. Eventually, my sales on Artfired became so limited, I closed the shop. Recently Etsy has changed some of its restrictions & my sales have dropped off. I found Handmade Artist, viewed their shops and decided this was a great fit for me! I have a real passion for gemstones & jewelry, of all types! I find it rewarding working with customers to create jewelry that they love to wear & are proud to say they assisted in designing!
