Welcome to A Bead Thing. I want you to love your purchase so please if you have questions, don't hesitate to contact me. I have made every effort to photograph the pieces with as much clarity as possible. Keep in mind that different monitors may not show colors quite the same as others. Again, if you have questions, please let me know.

Payment

I accept all major credit cards in payment through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account in order to make a purchase, a credit card is sufficient. Make sure your address is correct when you make payment through PayPal as this is the address that will be used for shipping. No shipment will be made to an UNVERIFIED address. PayPal provides tracking information.

Shipping

All orders are usually shipped within 24 hours of payment verification except for orders requiring specific sizing such as rings or custom orders. Specific sizing and custom orders will generally ship within 5 days. You will be notified if there is any delay.

Shipping is through USPS First Class Mail. If your order weighs more than is allowed in First Class Mail, I will notify you by email and issue an additional invoice to cover difference in cost if any or you may choose the Flat Rate Priority Mail, where if it fits it ships for one low price. If you prefer faster delivery Flat Rate Priority Shipping can be used. If you would like your package insured, contact me for further instructions. For international shipment, please contact me prior to making order and I will determine the cost of shipping, all customs costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
International shipping charges are naturally based on your location and are determined at the time of your order.

Refund & Exchanges

Refunds within 30 days of shipping will be decided on a case by case basis. If your item is damaged in transit, return in original packaging within 15 days and a replacement will be sent to you at cost of shipping only. Please remember that these are handmade items and some can not be replicated, those that can will not look identical as they are not mass produced in any way. If your item was marked OOAK (one of a kind), then it can not be replicated. Also, please understand that "no longer needed" or "it is not what I expected" are not sufficient for a refund.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Do you actually create each piece?
Yes, either myself or my daughter handcraft each piece. We do use commercially purchase wire, findings and components (i.e. beads etc) but each piece is created by our own loving hands.

Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, we guarantee our work for workmanship. If it breaks due to poor quality of materials or workmanship, we will repair it. If you perhaps 'snag it', there is a charge for repairs and re-shipping.

On what is your pricing based?
Our pricing is based on cost of materials, a small percentage for our time. Sales tax that I am required by law to pay to our state is also included in the price.
