| "Can you make me one of those?" About 3 years ago, I was getting ready to cheer my oldest son, Bo, on at a high school baseball game. I grabbed my very FAVE earrings and before I could get it all the way through the hole....IT BROKE!! To say I was sad is an understatement. It was just a pair of earrings. I stared at it for a minute and for some unknown reason, I wrapped the hoop about my finger and fashioned a knot to keep it from poking my skin. Yes... I walked out the door with a broken earring wrapped around my finger. At the game, being the uber cool mom that I am, all of my son's friends (girls) sat by me. So.....All of these sweet girls were huddled around, talking about boys, each other, etc. In mid sentence, one of them stopped and said "Mrs. Lori, WHERE did you get that ring? I have to have one!!" The others chimed in and before I left the game, I have promised to make them all one. Just one problem....I don't know how I did it. hahaha Female, Born on June 22 |
