Bio
My whole life I have been around creative and handy people. My dad was a wood worker making frames and other types of wood crafts. Growing up that is where I wanted to be... next to my dad watching him create his wood master pieces. I started wanting to create something and he would help me with making wood projects but I wanted to learn something else. That is when I had my parents take me to the local craft store and I found beads! I started stringing beads making necklace and earrings. I would sell my beautiful pieces to the neighborhood kids. My love for crafts grew from there. I tried all kinds of different types of crafts and always went back to my beads. As I got older I forgot about my love for creating until I went to college for Occupational Therapy and took a craft class. In this class we made a small mosaic art piece. I was hooked! I then found a local glass store and bought a bunch of her scrap glass and practiced making small mosaic picture frames and was very please on how they turned out. I developed a friendship with the local stained glass store owner. She gave me all kinds of tips and advice which brought me back for more. I then took a glass blowing class from her and started making my own beads for my jewelry. After that class I wanted more so I took her stained glass class and well now I have my own studio at home creating all kinds of glass art and trying to teach my own classes. I have developed a love for glass in all forms and keep growing my skills and knowledge. I hope one day to get a kiln and start glass fusing but until then I am happy with what I have now and will keep creating mosaics, stained glass and jewelry for you. I take pride in every piece that is created and strive for top notch quality. I hope you enjoy what you see and if you do not see what you are looking for just ask I might be able to create it for you! Thank you for your interest and time!
