SweetwaterHandcraftedJewelry's Profile
Bio |
About I came to jewelry making about three years ago. I worked in the field of educational psychology for many years and started making jewelry to de-stress when my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. Happily, she is now cancer free and to celebrate, she and the rest of our family have become very involved in raising money for breast cancer research. My sale of jewelry helps the cause. But more than that, my jewelry making has allowed me to recognize and develop a whole new aspect of myself. I love what I do. One of the things I've discovered is how much I enjoy working with my hands. I love the whole process - idea - to design - to finished piece of jewelry. I have discovered that I can see a completed piece in my head - before I start creating it. I imagine the enjoyment of the person wearing it and how she will feel. I make each piece very carefully and strive to make each one fit comfortably and beautifully. I want my jewelry to make the wearer feel attractive, feminine, satisfied, and unique. And color. I want the colors to speak to the person - to set a mood. In closing, I hope that you love wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoyed creating it. Please take your time to look through my shop and return often. Happy shopping Female, Born on June 15 |
