Bio

Hello and welcome to River Rock Arts! Thank you for visiting my shop! I have been involved in making handmade items since I was very young. I remember visiting my maternal grandmother and rooting around in her sewing room to see what I could find; it was like a treasure chest to me then. She was a big inspiration to me and the one who taught me to sew when I was still very young. I got involved in just about any kind of needlework along with crocheting and knitting. I taught myself macramé and loved that too. I got involved with ceramics in 1981 and have not stopped except for a time while raising my kids. My latest projects include folded star ornaments and jewelry using my photography and artwork. I love making things with my own hands and am glad there are still people who appreciate quality handmade items by artisans who put their time, effort, and heart into their work. Creating is my passion when I don't have to be at my day job. I also love photography, so you may see some of my photographs in my shop at a later date. My shop contains both functional and decorative ceramic items. I strive to provide the best customer service and want my customers to be happy. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
