| I was born and raised on a farm in Wisconsin. My mother taught me to knit by the time I was 9. After my sister married and moved to Illinois, when I was 13 she gave me a crochet hook, some yarn and the instructions to crochet. I have been going strong ever since. In 2000 after I had moved to Maryland, my boyfriend bought me a container that had beads in it. I pulled all the instructions off the internet and learned several different methods. I started to sell my crochet, knit and beaded items at flea markets and craft shows when I was out of work. I started to do really well when I got a job with the post office. I could no longer do the shows since I work on Saturdays, so I turned to the internet. Female, Born on December 21 |
