Bio

I’ve been creating since before I can remember, starting with painting, drawing, and sewing. I remember watching my mom sew and quilt, often designing her own patterns. I have a bachelor’s degree in my other love, English literature, but took a heavy dose of art classes at the same time. Along the way, I’ve dabbled in almost every art and craft medium you can think of. I find ideas everywhere—a blurry picture, an interesting shape or color in nature, a geometric pattern, historical clothing, an unusual color combination. Various artists have inspired me, including Helen Frankenthaler, Richard Diebenkorn, James Abbot McNeill Whistler, Claude Monet, and Paul Cezanne. Female, Born on July 22
