I made this petite Tiger Eye Snake necklace for your celebration of the Chinese New Year.
I used a hand carved Tiger Eye Snake pendant with tiger eye tube beads and round beads.  I used a 3/1 connector to hand the pendant from that would remind you of a garden with sterling silver spacer beads.  This petite celebration piece is approximately 24" long and the pendant adds another2 3/4".

Ancient Chinese wisdom says a Snake in the house is a good omen because it means your family will not starve. This could be taken metaphorically to mean that a Snake could never have a problem with his family starving because he is such a great mediator, making him good at business. Or it could mean that a Snake would be willing to sacrifice his possessions, something the Snake has a lot of, in order to pay for his family’s food. Any way it is interpreted is representative of the Snake’s character and is a measure of the value he puts on his material wealth. The Snake is keen and cunning, quite intelligent and wise.

TIGER’S EYE: Its beautiful shimmer and play of golden light over its surface gives tiger’s eye an amazing liveliness--a cat’s eye effect called chatoyancy. It has been sought after and used in jewelry as it is said to heighten concentration and help to ease headaches and migraines; also said to be an effective healing stone for bronchial problems and asthma.
