My name is Kelly Feibes, and I started knitting about 20 years before I started my home-based business, Primarily Practical Knits. I love knits, but most commercially available knits are either cheap (in every sense of the word) or luxury items. Cheap knits are frustrating: they don’t look good for long and they fall apart. Luxury knits are too expensive for many families, and are not always of the workmanship one might expect. I strive to create knits that find the happy medium. I use yarns that will hold up well if cared for according to instructions, and I hand-finish everything so I can guarantee the seams won't come apart. I pride myself on having only had one case since 2003 where I had to refund a customer because she was unhappy with my product. I'll do my best to make you happy, too!

Payment

I accept PayPal directly through this shop. If you want to use a different payment method, please contact me. If I haven't received payment, or a message from you, in 3 days then I'll assume you've changed your mind. I am a registered LLC in Kentucky, so if I ship to a Kentucky address I have to add 6% sales tax to the total. Please contact me if you have questions.

Shipping

I prefer to ship through USPS. I use first-class package service for packages that are light enough, and priority mail for heavier packages. I get tracking service whenever possible. If you would like me to ship by UPS instead, please let me know. I will ship internationally, as long as you don't mind the significantly more expensive shipping charges. Please contact me with questions. I fill out customs forms accurately and honestly; as the buyer, you will be responsible for all additional taxes or duties required in your country.

Refund & Exchanges

I want you to be happy with your purchase and with our transaction. If you're not, please let me know so that we can make things right. Ready-made items can be exchanged or refunded if they are returned in new condition. I would be interested in why you’re returning the item, but you’re by no means required to tell me. Shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to my mistake. I do ask that returns be made within 30 days of purchase. Patterns, because of their nature, cannot be refunded or exchanged.

I am usually working off a waiting list, so terms and delivery time will be different than they are here. Because my profit margins are unusually low for a retail business, I can't offer wholesale or volume discounts. Thank you for understanding.
