Welcome to Green Street Mosaics! Green Street Mosaics specializes in custom mosaics - mirrors, name art, address signs, frames, and more. Green Street Mosaics was named after one of the beautiful tree-lined streets in downtown historic Annapolis, where I used to live with my husband Bill and our dog Quincy. We now reside in St. Petersburg, Florida where all custom mosaic pieces are made in my home studio. I am completely self taught and believe that each piece I create continues to teach me something. A favorite part of mosaics for me is using so many small, unrelated pieces of glass and putting them together like a big puzzle until they form a unique piece of art. I thrive on experimenting with different combinations of color families and hues. When making a custom piece, I always think about the customer for whom I am creating. I am 100% about communication and enjoy getting to know my customers as I create their custom pieces of mosaic art. Green Street Mosaics proudly donates 10% of all profits to the SPCA of Tampa Bay.

Shipping

Shipping is via USPS priority mail OR FedEx ground depending on size and weight of your mosaic. I always ship using the least expensive method and tracking numbers are provided. Larger mirrors are shipped with insurance.

Refund & Exchanges

I work very hard to make sure that my customers are happy throughout the process. That said, if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, I will refund the full amount, minus all shipping charges on ready to ship items. You will have 5 days to return the item. Once I receive the mosaic in the same condition I originally sent it, I will issue you a refund. Sorry, no refunds on Custom Orders.

Custom orders are my speciality. If you don't see the perfect color combination or size, or if you are looking for something special please let me know. For custom orders, I am happy to send tile samples at no charge. All custom name art, mirrors, and address sign mosaics are handmade from scratch. I use a sturdy substrate (either primed wood or wedi board depending on size and where the mosaic will be used) I hand cut all glass tiles, and apply them individually. After placing the tiles and grouting, each piece of mosaic tile is polished and the entire piece is protected with multiple coats of sealant so any possible moisture does not warp or stain the grout. The sides and the back are painted a corresponding color, and hanging hardware is attached securely to the back. For all custom orders I always provide an exact ship date and stick to the schedule.
