Announcement for Buyers
I do apologize for the photos being at a right angle, they were at the correct angle for viewing when I posted them, but not for your viewing, I do not know why they are at a right angle..................... If you want to see better photos of them, please email me at.                  Heavenlycreationsdesigns@yahoo.com                   and I will be more than happy to provide you with either more photos, or we could connect via Skype......we would set up a day and time for your convienence......I am available most of the time............thanks  I have been doing custom wood working for 33 years and the past 8 years I have been using pen blanks to create the acrylic earrings that are very colorful, with colors that will never fade. And some of these require many hours of hand work, that are unlike any others being created by any other artists around. A few styles are available in limited quantities due to the amount  of time involved to create them, requiring a higher sell fee.  Creations of solid wooden earrings, home made segmented wooden earrings and highly colorful and creative designed acrylic earrings for women of all ages. The style of earrings you will see on my pages are unlike what others are making as I take my time when making each pair............................................................. Please know that all wooden earrings are cut using either a bandsaw for the outside rough shape. A powered scroll saw for the inside cuts as well as using a Foredom Power Carver with various types of burrs to shape the inside and outside shapes. With inside cuts, small hand files are used to remove bandsaw/scroll saw marks, before moving on to hand sanding. When hand sanding, I start normally with 100 grit and gradually increase to 600 grit sandpaper, using a lighted magnifying glass to verify all tool marks, previous grits are removed before going to a higher sandpaper grit...................................................  Hand sanding on even a relatively easy looking piece to sand can take an hour or more to complete, with more intricate cutts taking up to 3 hours to handvsand before finish is applied...................................... NONE of my wooden earrings will have any sanded marks showing on them, and all areas are blown free of dust by an air compressor before dipping them in the Watco Danish Oil......................................... When using the Watco Natural Danish Oil, all pieces are completely submerged for about 15 seconds, then removed to drip dry/absorb the oil in the wood pores. After 10 minutes as the wood pores obsorb the oil or look dry, all pieces are submerged again for 10 another seconds and allowed to dry. After the 2nd oil submerging and about 15 minutes I towel dry all areas of the wood and let air dry, then after 2 hours re-wipe all areas again. ............................  [Some woods may be needed to be submerged more than twice when the wood dries out faster than others in any batch] each batch is different due to sizes of wood -- height x width x thickness -- ...thicker wooids will be submerged 3 ir 4 times according to how fast the wood absorbs the oil. All pieces are left to air dry for 24 to 48 hours depending on the thickness of wood. Then using a Beal 3 wheel buffing system with compounds to polish the woods................................ The same 3 wheel system is used to polish all the non wooden items as well, for a nice sheen....Acrylics.......................... All acrylics, actually take more time to finish by hand using various grades of sand papoer up to 12,000 grit.
