Handmade with a personalized message and custom fit, this sterling silver binary code ring wraps both geekery and beauty around your finger. You can order your ring in any size by entering your ring size or finger circumference in the check out notes along with your personalized binary code or message. Since the ring was cut and formed from thick 18 gauge sterling silver, it is also possible to stamp both the front and back without having the letters punch through.

The ring measures about .25 inch wide by 1 mm thick and was hammered to perfection over a steel mandrel to using a nylon mallet. The ends were precisely aligned and joined at the seam using sterling silver solder and an acetylene torch. By making absolutely sure that ends are in perfect alignment, while following the soldering process with meticulous filing and polishing, the seam becomes almost invisible. The edges were filed smooth, a black patina brushed into the binary code digits for added contrast, before polishing to a mirror finish with a series of fine cloths.
