These hammered sterling silver teardrop earrings were hand sawed from 18 gauge sterling silver with a jewelry saw and feature a stunning teardrop shape and hammered texture for dazzling lighting effects. After sawing the flat teardrop shape, using a pierce and cut technique to saw out the middle, and hammering the sterling silver with a ball hammer to produce that rippled texture, I dapped teardrops on metal block to create curvature which adds depth and dimension to the earrings, while light reflecting off the curved hammered surface sparkles and forms natural highlights. With a little extra twisting and mallet work, even more dazzle was incorporated into the design for earrings that are sure to grab some serious attention.

The earrings measure approximately 1 1 /2 inch long by 1 inch wide and hang from sterling silver hypoallergenic ear hangers that contain no contaminants such as lead and nickel.
