This handmade sterling silver hibiscus flower pendant features a beautiful onyx stone in the center, hand sawed and dapped sterling silver design, and a mirror finish. The five pedals were sawed by hand as one continuous form from 18 gauge sterling silver with a jewelry saw and hammered on a dapping block and hand formed to add uneven curvature which creates a three dimensional piece with a sense of realism while light reflecting off the curved surface produces natural highlights and shadows. The inner whorls of the hibiscus are represented by the 8mm genuine black onyx stone in the center. I soldered the individual components by hand with an acetylene torch and sterling silver solder, before finishing the pendant with a series of silicon polishing and buffing wheels.

The Hibiscus pendant is approx 2 inches in diameter and comes with the 18 inch sterling silver chain.
