A word about the bowls...From Log To Art Many of the bowls displayed here are unique, one of a kind pieces. As well as being beautiful to look at, my work is completely functional. The natural bark edge is preserved whenever possible for a stunning visual appeal which makes these bowls especially pleasing to have in your home. I turn pieces primarily from trees that have suffered loss due to weather conditions or trimming. For example, I recently turned several bowls and pedestals from a large Water Oak tree that was knocked down by hurricane Matthew. The wood from the tree was quite beautiful and proved to be a favorite with customers. Whenever I come across various, unique stock, I jump at the chance to turn something beautiful from it. Because of this, some of these rare beauties aren’t always available. Please inquire to find out what my current stock is at the time. I will do my best to find something to fit your needs.
