I've always loved drawing, painting and making things with my own hands. I studied Art and Design and received my degree from MSU. I learned to sew in Junior High School, with a lot of help from my mother, who is a great seamstress and sewed my wedding dress. I learned to sew on a Singer treddle sewing machine at home! Of course now I use a modern machine to create my handbags. I've also been a painter for many, many years, having my work carried in galleries and participating in shows. Now I'm excited to show my work online! I hope you'll come take a look at my shop. Keep in mind I can do custom orders, too. I am slowly leaving Etsy and setting up shop here, because HA is more in line with my definition and philosophy of what "handmade" means. I don't believe "handmade" means that you can hire a manufacturer to make your products and still call it "handmade". That is more in line with what a big box store does, and I think we have enough of those. If you agree, then you're at the right place! Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my shop.
