Adornsay's Profile

Bio
Medical issues can be both a curse and a blessing. My whole life I have wished to express my creativity, but have not had the opportunity until now. Having already left teaching I then found myself unable to work as a personal trainer. I decided that I needed to look in a new direction, something that allowed me the flexibility of working from home on my own schedule. Now was the time to explore my artistic side.

Discovering jewelry making has helped me in so many ways. Not only do I get to create a tangible product, but it helps with my coordination and cognitive rehabilitation. Making cards allows me to play with color and design in ways that I never thought possible, for me. And they both allow me to surround myself with elegance, color, and beauty something often lacking when you are ill.

For these reasons, I continue to try new techniques. Not only does it provide a variety of styles from which to choose, but continues to be an integral part of my rehabilitation.
