I love to walk through the fields in the fall to gather armfuls of dried foliage, flowers,and grasses ,the fields offer up a beautiful bounty.

I painted this study while I was doing a demonstration painting at an art show using my palette knife. The beauty of this bouquet is no allergies!

I brushed the background with raw Umber to simulate wood, and used my knife to create the cobalt blue vase and variety of flowers and grasses.

The original is acrylic paint on a 14x7 canvas suitable to hang as is.
