With golden wings outstretched, this artistic sterling silver ring wraps hand sawed brass wings fused to a unique asymmetrical sterling silver ring shank around your finger. The intricate brass wings are my own design that were sawed freehand from 20 gauge brass using an ultra-fine jewelry saw and joined to a 16 gauge custom asymmetrical ring shank with silver solder and an acetylene torch before hammering the flat band into a loosely shaped ring over a steel mandrel. When the ends of the ring shank perfectly align, the joint is soldered together and filed smooth to create a nearly invisible seam. Fine lines were chased into the wings to represent feathers and a dark patina was applied to add contrast against golden glow of polished brass.

As this is a totally custom ring handmade for you in a fitted size at the time of order, please be sure to indicate your ring size in the check out notes. The crown or highest part of the ring measures 10mm wide and the back section about 5mm wide. These dimensions can also be changed to suit individual styles and tastes and personalized touches such as words, text, initials, and dates can be engraved on the inside.
