Perched with grandeur and the noble distinction of an Eagle, this sterling silver ring impresses with highly detailed wings that were sawed by hand from 18 gauge sterling silver using a very fine jewelry saw. The flat wings were then dapped and domed on a steel block to capture a realistic three dimensional appearance while incorporating curved surfaces into my design to reflect and distort light thereby producing interesting highlights depending on viewing angle. Stylised with chased lines, the feathers provide intricate surface details melded with a heavy brushed finish for accentuating contours.

The wings span about 2 inches and were fused to a handmade 16 gauge sterling silver ring shank using silver solder and an acetylene torch. As shown, this ring is a size 6, but can be ordered in any size with a personalized fit by simply entering your ring size in the check out notes. While absolutely artistic and guaranteed to make a statement, this ring is also comfortable enough for extended wear.
