Homemade rag rug, featuring a stringy fabric known as selvedge edge.  These rugs are quite sturdy and heavy, with a classiness unique to them due to the nature of the material used.   Measures 31 inches wide by 56 inches long including the fringes. This was woven on a 2 harness floor loom, with a warp pattern (strings that hold the rug together) that is mostly white with rust, yellow and grey.  The colors of fabric woven are shades of blue and white.  Inv# 172
