In this tutorial I will teach you how to construct the Lock Link that will produce a stunning and versatile chain.
Only a few tools – and a bit of patience are required. You will be whipping up great chains in next to no time!!....the main thing is to have fun with it – and – to also put your own spin on it as well. Embellish them – leave them plain…or mix them up!

* Some knowledge of wrapping loops helpful.
Materials:
**NOTE** - a detailed Measurement Chart is included inside the tutorial to accurately determine how much wire you will need to make the links. Below is a list of materials I used to make the bracelets pictured
18g (1.0mm) Round wire for Hook
20g Round wire for links
26g wire to join in beads
4mm~6mm Beads – Amount will depend on how much you wish to embellish the chain
Tools:
Round Nose Pliers
Mandrel or larger pliers to open loops to fit 4mm beads in
Flush Cutters* (see Note below)
Needle Nose Pliers
Nylon Nose pliers
Ruler
Sharpie™ Pen
Files
Hammer (optional)
*I use Xuron 440PET shears - if you don’t own a pair – you will need a bit more wire to flush cut both ends.
