On this 5.5" x 8.5" handbound journal is a hand embroidered pair of trees with their roots entwined into the shape of a heart. The pattern is not my original design but can be found at urbanthreads.com (permission for use is granted on their site). ack) of 24# lined Southworth Granite paper.They have been long stitched with matching coral handwaxed cotton thread, the exposed threads on the spine have been gathered at 4 places.
