A little Matisse, a little Cezanne and a whole lot of color covers this pretty 6" x 9" book! The colors in this fabric are white, red, teal, vanilla, lemon, sky & royal blue, violet, lime and black with a contrasting black spine.

I have bound a generous 160 pages (front & back) of an acid free 90# smooth natural white watercolor paper. Even though they are watercolor pages their sturdiness is perfect for so much more, they will hold up well to altered art and perfect for those that like to simply write on heavier paper. They have been straight stitched with a hand waxed yellow cotton thread with the exposed threads gathered on the spine with a light rose colored squared glass bead. I have also added a black satin ribbon that ties this journal nicely shut.
