Spreading warmth with a silver shine, this silver sun pendant was sawed by hand from 20 gauge sterling silver with a jewelry saw and as a special highlight has a star cut out with chased rays of light emanating outwards towards the tips of the suns arms. The sun shape is my unique design drawn and sawed freehand on the sterling silver. To create the star, a hole was drilled in the center of the sun, the jewelry blade fed through the hole, and the star sawed out. The rays were chased with a harden steel chasing chisel and darkened with a black patina for contrast in the sea of silver. A satin burnished and low shine polish ties the star and sun together with a soft glow.

The sun measures a little over 1 inch in diameter and includes a nickel plated ball chain, however you may also request a black leather cord in the Paypal notes or order comments if you would prefer a black leather cord or have a nickel allergy.
