This sterling silver clover leaf pendant was sawed by hand as two circular pendants or medallions from 18 gauge sterling silver. In the first pendant, I punched a hole, fed a jewelry saw blade through the hole, and cut out the clover leaf. I then soldered the backing pendant and the cut out pendant together. Using a high quality liver of sulphur, I oxidized the backing plate that is now framed by the cut out overlay and then carefully polished the patina to leave a shadow effect with subtle shading. The end result is a beautiful shadow box clover leaf with all the luck of the Irish.

The pendant is quarter size and comes with the sterling silver chain.
