This stylized dandelion pendant was hand sawed from an 18 gauge sterling silver sheet as a circular disc and features a dandelion that was meticuliously cut out with a fine jewelry saw. I sawed the hallow stalk from the bottom, worked my upward through the eight cypselae, and back down to the base of the stalk all with a single 56 tpi metal blade and without stopping or following a guide. That burnished satin finish which radiates a warm silver glow around the dandelion cut out was produced by a wire fine wire brush and special silicon polishing wheel.

The pendant measures approximately 1 inch in diameter and is strung with a black genuine leather cord with slip knots. You may swap the leather cord for a vegan friendly imitation leather twist cord with a lobster clasp, choose a different finish, or even request a colored leather by writing your wishes in the contact seller email, sending me a text, or calling my cell 914.837.1392.
