Using a disc cutter, the charm was pressed from 18 gauge sterling which is thicker than common 20 or 22 gauge silver and produces a high quality backing for the soldered brass heart. The backing disc measures 1 inch in diameter, comes with a stainless steel ball chain, and can be personalized with any text of your choosing. Darkened with a real patina instead of a marker or Sharie, the text will retain stunning contrast against the shine of brushed sterling silver.
