While on one of my trips to South Africa, I went into a Rock Shop and found this beautiful piece of stripped Agate.  To bring out the green stripes I used
Aventurine beads, smaller lt. green Jade beads. and a brushed Bali sterling silver square with a Bali Sterling Silver toggle.  This beautiful piece is approximately 25".
