Homemade rag rug, featuring a stringy fabric known as selvedge edge.  These rugs are quite sturdy and heavy, with a classiness unique to them due to the nature of the material used.   Measures 31 inches wide by 69 inches long including the fringes. This was woven on a 2 harness floor loom, with a warp pattern (strings that hold the rug together) that is mostly white with some rust and green.  The colors of fabric woven into the rug are various shades of blue and white.
