This handmade ring is an artistic combination of discs that were sawed by hand from bronze, copper and sterling silver. The outer disc, which measures 1.25 inches in diameter, was sawed from 20 gauge bronze, given a hammered rippled texture around the circumference and stamped with tiny stars. The middle disc was sawed from 18 gauge copper and stamped with little circles while the center disc was cut from 18 gauge sterling silver, stamped with a star and soldered to the copper disc with an acetylene torch. The ring shank, was formed into a round shape from 12 gauge sterling silver, soldered closed and then sized on a steel ring mandrel. All of the individual components were then soldered together to complete the ring. Sharp edges and fire scale were removed with a hand file, the stamps darkened with a pewter black oxidizing patina, and the surface polished with an 80 grit silicon flap wheel for a glowing carnival of metals.

The ring is size 7 but can be ordered in any size simply by simply writing your ring size in the notes to seller during check out or sending me a contact mail. You may also personalize this ring with different stamps, metals, or add text in a circular pattern around the bronze and copper discs.
