Inside I have bound some wonderfully thick 140 lb Winsor & Newton Cotman Cold Press Watercolor Paper. There are 48 pages if you use front and back, 24 if you only use one side of each page. The page count is perfect to use for a specific art project or class. They have been long stitch bound with a handwaxed peach & gold cotton thread gathered and embellished with an amber colored glass bead at the spine. This method of binding allows for the book to open completely. I have also attached suede laces with crackle glass bead tips to hold this pretty journal shut.
