First Light Contemporary Acrylic painting

This contemporary acrylic original is done with a dry brush technique in vivid colors. This 11X14 can be hung or used on a shelf as is. I finished the edges and it is well sealed with a matte finish.

This represents the empty feeling of the day after the crucifiction of Christ.

Empty is the only feeling I can conjure in my mind when I imagine standing on that lonely hillside in the early morning light trying to hang on to a thread of hope feeling it slip away minute by minute..praying for a miracle.

I am haunted by this image, I have been since I was a child. Now I know it is a joyful scene. He did live and is with us today. Thank God!
