Unique artwork made with a slice of wood that had several possibilities for design..., until it split. Determined that it had a purpose; and, the fact that I wasn't giving up on it, I found its purpose. I had some odd-sized oyster shells I had collected and arranged them around the split area.  Added a few varied flower types made from shells, and added a dried flower as the center to a shell flower. It's actually one of my favorites and I enjoy looking at it.  I've also called it the "Blooming Strawberry".
