I've named this the Medallion because that is what comes to my mind when I see this fabric. This fabric with touches of light gray almost blue surrounded by black and red all on a green background. Apron trimmed in lime green premium binding.

You may want to save this for your best Sunday Apron, but that is certainly not mandatory. That is what Grandma Cora would do save her most favorite apron to cover here Sunday best. In those days they would have aprons for weekday hard work and a very few for Sundays. You know company aka guests may come in and they wouldn't be caught dead in a stained weekday apron. I tell you this little tidbit to share family and something about the creation of this pattern. It is a Cora 2 apron one in which was made from a Grandma Cora pattern but with mover up top coverage. I enlarged the bodice but the pattern is still in keeping with her traditions. Of course, you may like it enough to use every day. Either way, you will enjoy this time-honored pattern apron for years to come!
