I think the daisy has to be the happiest flower on the planet! This 5.5" x 8.5" daisy draped book would be a fantastic gift to someone who needs a little pick-me-up or smile. The fabric colors are simple - white, yellow, orange, gray on a red background with small black polka dots.

I have bound 200 pages (front & back) of text weight lined white pages which have been straight stitched with a handwaxed subtlety variegated red cotton thread. The exposed threads on the spine have been gathered in two places with a small gold tone bead. Also added are book ties made of two red satin ribbons which have been embellished with milky white glass beads and gold beads matching those on the spine.
