Hand Bound Book Guinevere
The fabric on the covers of this 5.5" x 8.5" book is inspired by the distinctive techniques and designs of Medieval embroidery and tapestry. Rich shades of rust, pale yellow, light green with touches of periwinkle all on a graphite background.
Inside I have bound 200 lined pages (front & back) of lined 24# acid free paper Southworth ivory granite paper. They have been straight stitched using a hand waxed rust cotton thread gathered at the spine with a tiny gunmetal colored glass bead.
