It has been said that the unique voice of Tom Waits is "like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car." This book is fantastic for any Tom Waits lover.

On this fabric covered 5.5" x 8.5" journal I have spray painted in black a portrait of Waits using my own hand cut stencil, I've used the lyrics from "The Ghosts of Saturday Night" on the background. And added a black contrasting spine which shows the nice staggered exposed threads nicely.

Inside I have bound 200 lined pages (front & back) of a white 20# text weight paper. They have been straight stitched using an aged parchment colored hand waxed cotton thread.
