Welcome
I truly enjoy working with wood...I hope it shows! The kitchen cooking utensils and other items (hiking / trekking sticks, variety items) are proprietary and I try to keep up with the demand (lotsa hours) and still offer new things that I find fun to make.
One of my favorite things to make are the Scottish Thistle wood kitchen utensils. This collection consists of 12 individual items with a common theme of a carved thistle top. The pieces include spurtles (Scottish stir sticks, use dating from the 15th century) honey dippers, drink muddlers and spoon/spreaders all with the distinctive thistle top end and featured in prime Cherry wood. Due to the need for additional strength and heft, some of the larger spurtles (20" and 25") are created in Hickory wood.

Besides being totally useful (warning: use can be addictive!) this collection looks great on the kitchen counter or the island. A distinctive counter top stand to hold the collection is also being built and will be available soon. It is constructed of Cherry wood with polished T6 (aircraft aluminum that maintains the shine) accents and really makes a uniquely decorative kitchen statement. Of course the spurtles will also look great in a large cup, small crock pot or your favorite utensil caddy.

A starter set of three spurtles (8", 11" and 14")which I offer, is highly recommended. Most folks that order the basic three set find their favorite sizes through actually using them, and then add to their collection/arsenal: the various size spurtles and specialty pieces can be purchased individually to add to the set. The typical arsenal usually has two to four 8" spurtles for sauce pans and mixing dry ingredients; and one or two of the 11" and 14" sizes.

The specialty pieces (with the same, carved thistle top) are three styles of honey dippers (Bee Hive, Turbo, and Pineapple), a jam, jelly, marmalade scoop / spreader, in two lengths: 8" and 10", and 'Turbo' Muddlers, also 8" and 10". I'm always searching for new, suitable additions to the collection; if you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. If I adopt your suggestion into the line you'll be the first to receive one. . . completely free and with my thanks.

Payment
Preferably instant Paypal, but I know that doesn't always happen. Please contact me if you have a need to. Saltmines@aol.com

Shipping
I ALWAYS ship within one business day after receipt of payment. I usually ship USPS, 1st Class or Priority, whatever suits, and UPS or FedEx when it seems best. I charge a flat $3.00 shipping charge, per order; the actual cost is always more or less than that amount...and it all seems to even out eventually.

Refund & Exchanges
I have a 30 Day Return Policy. My paramount goal is to make you a happy camper, in all respects. If, for whatever reason, something seems wrong with any part of any order, please contact me as soon as possible, I'll do what it takes to make things right. If you wish to return an item, I offer a full refund (or exchange, your choice) for up to 30 days. If something goes wrong after that, please still let me know, I'll do what I can. That's a promise.
