I am having trouble commenting on some of your blogs.  If there is an "Anonymous" comments it is more than likely me. Sorry, about that.

My Post for Handmade Artists was posted prior to signing up here.  (I cheated, but just a little).

Hello, I am pretty new here.  My name is Alix owner of The Alchemists Vessel.  I have a blog and I know how to use it!

Every Tuesday, I post Five Great Gifts to Give (usually from Etsy); however I would like to extend this offer to Handmade Artists shops as well.  Before you roll your eyes and click another thread, this is absolutely FREE, all it costs is a moment of your time.  I will never spam, e-mail or put you on a mailing list, or ask you for money.  This is simply to get noticed!  Frankly, I need the content, because I am just not that interesting.  I also just love Etsy and Handmade Artists is becoming a favorite.  I would like to see others have an opportunity to get noticed as well.  Some Etsy shop owners have even had a sale or two from the Blog posts.

Here's the deal, you all send me a message or post here (posting here would be more fun), include the link to your item that you would like promoted.  Your item along with four others will be posted on Tuesday's Blog post.  That's it!

How it works: you post the link.  I COPY your picture, description, direct link to your store, and the item, then PASTE that information on my blog.  All done! I have a whole 13 followers (that's a baker's dozen!), but would love more!  I share the blog on wordpress, linkedin, google plus and my facebook page.  That's a whole new audience to reach.

Want to have a look see?  Tomorrow's blog will be as above, five Etsy shops (including my own) with links and descriptions. I think you can find the blog via the link below.  Thanks for reading!  I hope you'll participate.  Mother's Day is coming up.  Got anything special for Mom?

Thank you so much Lisa, for the heads up on the link!  I have fixed and it should work now.  It was missing the "l" at the end of Vessel.

Hello, new people!

Thank you all for the nice welcome.

Julie - Etsy also has a Chain Maille Category, but it's not as well organized as it is here. I have yet to delve into armor creation, but have been asked to create a Head Piece for an SCA member (I live in the Barony of Arnhold), who is also a friend of mine.  Stainless steel and medieval research, here I come!

Everyone has such wonderful and beautiful things!  Much luck for success to all of you.

Hi, It looks like this Maillers Anonymous, or Maillers Central, maybe.

My name is Alix, I am the owner and Alchemist of The Alchemists Vessel.  I have been making jewelry for about eight years, and am currently enrolled in classes to upgrade (update) my skills and learn about new materials and products on the market.

I use all kinds of materials, Sterling Silver and Semi-precious Gemstone to ""Up-Cycled" items, bits and baubles I find lying around that definitely have a purpose as a piece of jewelry.

Chain Maille is my passion.  I find it most relaxing and very like Meditation in its way.  I taught myself last year to occupy idle hands and have several patterns that I can weave from memory or on the fly. I just opened my shop yesterday, and still trying to decide what to upload.  I can be found on Etsy, my blog, the website, and looking forward to seeing what wonderful creations you all come up with.  I love looking at other peoples jewelry, I always marvel "how did they do that?"

Pliers and wire will set you free!
