commented on Monika's
Even checked my links, like one should always do, but I don't always do!  Will have to check out the other stuff later.

John, I clicked on like on your facebook page, but then realized it would be linked to my personal page not my lisianblue page, that I'm still working on remembering my login stuff.

Whoa!! so much going on!
Pam, I am so sorry about your dog.  I don't remember how old Jaeden is.............I raised my kids in the country, we were always losing animals.  The 1st one was very sweet dog, my daughter was 2 and my newborn son.  I doubt my daughter really understood what happened but she did miss her friend Gypsy.  I do thin that learning to deal with the pets demise does eventually help them deal with a humans passing.   Does Jaeden have any friends tht come over or he goes to their house?
Also, I read an article recently that you should never give a dog, iced water, I can't remember exactly why, or what it does, just that you shouldn't.

Kimberly, I think Monika's idea of hiding under the covers for a little while is  great idea! Sometimes a little veging can help, although I do understand it's hard to that when you have so much to do.  You'll get through it!

Monika, so sorry about the loss of your friend.  Oh my gosh singing at a friend funeral must be difficult.  I don't think I would be able to do that.

Teresa, I was also going to  ask if you are using a light tent.  To me it sort of looks like you are getting too much light.  I know when I use my light tent, I do it when it's dark and turn out all the other lights.  I don't know what kind of light tent you're using, but I wonder if the pinkish tint is coming from the tent material.  I found out the hard way, that all white material isn't created with just pure white.
YAY for getting your money back!  with any luck at all, that guy will have to serve some time anyway!

Larissa, hope you are feeling better.  Sorry about Eric's back, ouch!  It is amazing how something that seems so natural or easy can wrench out our backs!

I have finally managed to make a scarf for sale! I think it's the 1st thing I have made in many months that will be for sale.  Now, to get pictures and get it listed! And, started another one!  I upped my dosage on my anti-depressant last night, hoping that will help my motivation in a few days.  It's a quick acting one!  Anyway, gotta get going, it's almost 6:00 and I really haven't done anything around here or much of anything productive on the computer. Wishing everyone a peaceful evening.

It's best to do the kitchen last, especially with  teenage boys who must be fed almost constantly.   Like baby birds they are always hungry....  I wish you well on this move.
Lo yeah my grandson is a bottomless pit!

Monika, so glad that the eye thing isn't something more serious.  I love those birds on the line!

Larissa, I am sorry about Meg.  Hooray for the guys & their sauces!

Teresa, sounds like just maybe they will catch that guy and get him off the streets for a while.

Kimberly! Stabbing yourself with scissors!  Glad you're ok!   Wouldn't it be fun if a bunch of us could all get together and have a packing party!!
Andrew, it's too bad you won't get more time between job's.  Hope this one is the best possible job for you.

I'm just hangin in there and not really getting much done! A little bit, but not much!
Wishing everyone the best!

Just dropping in real quick.
Kimberly & Andrew, so glad you found someone to rent the house!! And on top the fun stuff!
Tx, that just sounds wacky!

Monika, did you get the printer thing figured out?

Pam, sounds like a good plan with Jaeden.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes and prayers. Our little Miss Evie is doing pretty good in spite of everything.  Her numbers are already improving, but no, nada, good white blood cells.  But, we're just at the beginning stages of this fight!  Me, I'm a basket case, and just not accomplishing much of anything!
I guess I will get through this phase eventually!
Hope all gets sorted out with the plumbing, electrical, hot tub, issues!

Teresa, I guess I missed what actually happened with the hot tub thing - doesn't sound good though!

Monika, Hope you enjoyed your "day off" from the Comcast mess, and since it's Friday,  hoping someone actually shows up and fixes the problem!  How's the ankle doing?

Larissa, glad to hear you took a break and spent some time relaxing!  Hope your tummy is feeling better!  I think your Mardi Gras in June party is such a cool idea.

As for the cabinet, I didn't sand down the damaged parts I pulled off, I sanded down the rest of the top. Doing a mosaic on it is an interesting idea, except that I already have something planned for it............but that may have to change!

I am probably gong to be somewhat mia here for a bit, life just got crazier than usual!
My daughter, Nichole took her 4-yr-old daughter, Evie,  to the Dr. Wed to have her eye checked out along with the headaches she has been getting.  The Dr wasn't concerned about her eye, but was about the headaches.  So, he ordered a CBC and some other blood tests, and Nichole got a phone call early Wed evening that she needed to take Evie to the ER NOW!  Our sweet little Evie has leukemia!  Fortunately it is treatable and curable, but I think she's going to be going through quite a bit to get it cured.   At 2am, they started a platelet transfusion, with a blood transfusion to be done later on.  Sat. she will be having surgery to get some bone marrow along with a spinal tap.
Kai & I will be going to see her Friday afternoon & then go over to Nichole's to do some much needed laundry for her.  I will be spending the night at the hospital off and on so Nichole can spend a night at home and hopefully get a decent nights sleep.  Apparently someone ( a family member) has to be with her all the time! Hopefully Dad can do the same now & then.
And fortunately Kai's visit to the eye Dr on Tues revealed that his retina isn't detached again, but tissue (scar?) is pulling on  it.  He also has "stuff" in his eye! Whatever that is!  So, he's on Prednisone pills & drops to try to get it cleared up, and hopefully settle the scar tissue down.
Life just got real crazy!!!  I am still in shock!!  I had no clue there was something so serious running through this little girls body!
All forms of prayer - whatever you practice will be greatly appreciated for both my grandchildren!
Evie doing her "Happy Chicken Dance while we were out blowing bubbles!

Have a great day everyone!

Ugh Monika! My Mom had Comcast and they were horrible! I would call their customer service dept. and file a complaint.

Kris that old cabinet needs a mosaic on top.....LOL
Monika That just may be the answer to my problem!  I pulled up the damaged pieces and sanded them down........was thinking of buying a 1/4" small sheet of plywood - too much for me @ Ace right now....I have some adhesive stuff and some grout....................so maybe I'll do that!  Currently working on filling in the area with wood putty............slowly!
Good grief I know where I'd tell Comcast to take their business!

Teresa, yikes about the hot tub !

Moinika, yeah that is some horrible customer service!  Hope the guy actually makes it today! Wishing you the very best for your eye!

Marty, hehe glad to know I'm not the only one! It's amazing what people throw away!  My apt in Alb. was right next to a Goodwill store, and yes, the dumpsters  still had stuff in there.

Teresa, wishing the very best for Lady, and hopefully your trip to Chigaco!

Have managaed to get most of the paint stripped from the cabinet.  Underneath the green paint is a layer of the ugliest brown paint, so it's taking about 3 -4 applications of the stripper to get it all off! Will have to do something about the top, it's pretty damaged.
