John, hope your daughter is doing good.  Good thing you guys are close by and can help out.
Replacing the water pump sounds fun!! :-X

Larissa, a belated Happy Birthday!! I have to ask since I haven't been around for  the history on your wrist, have you done physical/or occupational therapy??  Just "sucking it up" should not be an option for something like this!!

Monika, thought I saw some things that looked like yours on the front page of items.  Glad you are feeling better, and hopefully will continue to do so.

I have an idea for something completely new for me, want to try them out first and see how they hold up before I let the secret out, or list them.  Looked at laptops at my local pawn shop - looking at 250.00, but that's
better than a brand new one.  May take me a couple of months to finally get it, thankfully they have lay-a-way!

Have a good one everyone!

((((Hugs))))  back Monika!

So, I have a question.  I want to start adding items to my reflections shop, but it's been so long that I've put anything there & some of the items have been there since 2010.  I'm kind of thinking of deleting everything that's in there & starting over.  Any suggestions???

Hi everyone.  Yeah, it's been a long time!!!  I briefly scanned the past few pages............
Ya know, I moved to Colorado Springs to help out with my wonderful grandchildren, and that is exactly what I've been doing!! The past few months have been pretty hectic.  Once school is out, Kai (now 16) is here until school starts back up again.  I've had Evie (now 6) pretty much 5 - 6 days a week for the pat 3 months, and some of those are 12 hour days!!
For those of you that remember, Evie developed leukemia 2 years ago.  I'm so extremely happy to report that she has 1 month of chemo left!! Yay!!   The crappy stuff has been in remission for some time.  YAY!!!! Her immune system is down, but they expect that, and it should get better over time after she is done with the chemo.

Me, I'm hanging in there!! Nothing too major going on, except extreme lower back pain, going to Dr today to hopefully get referrals for Physical therapy, a cortisone epidural ( hate those), and an MRI.

I've been thinking of getting back into working on getting things sold here, and just as I'm trying to work things out for that, my laptop craps out on me!!!  I do have a desktop. but Kai pretty much hogs that!! Kicking him off a few hours a day is an option, but if Evie is here, it's not a great one!   I have a very small apartment!

Monika, my dear I  hope you are doing good after your surgery.  Take good care of you!

Larissa, sounds like you are as busy as ever!!  I highly recommend Physical/occupational therapy, hot tubs, warm pools for the arthritis.  Blueberries, and other anti-inflammatory foods, also find out the inflammatory foods. When I was in my 20's I went to a Y in Tacoma Wa, that had partnered with the Arthritis Foundation and put in a 12 x 12 therapy pool.  The class I attended was right after the children's class,  it frequently brought tears to my eyes watching those young kids coming out of the therapy pool area.  Arthritis knows no age limits!!  I was in my early 20's when it started getting some of my joints.
Laurie0311, I was going to take a look at you shop..........can you put a link to it in your signature?? there is a way to do that on here.

Andrew & Kimberly, I know you two are busy!! Love you guys!

I have got to get some more sleep before it's time to get up!! I'll be back.....may be a day or 2, but I'll be around!! :)

Thanks for the hugs!!!

Fortunately I don't have to deal with the ER, just the waiting at home wondering what the heck is happening......................Nichole is good about letting me know if they are going home or being admitted pretty quickly though.
Nichole & Evie were sick, now I've got it!  Throat feels like it's had a critter running up & down it with claws fully extended!!!!  Actually Evie is still sick, but doing pretty good.

Larissa, so you guys ready for some honey this year?
Love getting my teeth cleaned!!!

Hugs back....((((((HUGS)))))

Yeah, I was kind of thinking I shouldn't do that!  I may make a few to take out to the parking lot with me, but just a few.  Just the  colors should be ok to list though right?

There are some awesome dyes, fabric paints, out now, so it may be possible.  The reconstruction shouldn't be that hard I don't think.
If a pillow, or several, is out, what about a wall hanging?  Oh hey, you could maybe do something like that with the cut off parts.   You could get really creative with it, or do something simple.  I'm sure you will come up with something wonderful.

Hi Jeanne!!!!  So glad you popped in!!!! I'm so sorry about your grandson.
Yeah, I kind of pop in and out.....................need to stay in more!
I've moved to Colorado Springs so I get to see a lot of 2 of my grandkids, but haven't seen the youngest in over a year now.

We still have a way to go to meet our goal. Sorry for your loss. As far as the originals still being around, it is hard to tell, they pop in and out from time to time. Things have just been a bit slow lately. We'll keep pushing forward though.
Thanks...what can I do to shake things up?  You know I am good at that. 8)
Lo, yeah you are!!!!

Oh Larissa, it's beautiful!!!   It may not work.  Just depends on the material, not everything dyes well.
Sounds like a cool idea!! Taking it to a good tailor would be a good start, several, and ask about the possibility of having it dyed.

Aw shoot, I finished a requested custom cowl for a guy here in the Springs with the Bronco head on it.  After painstakingly working this out, I was looking forward to making a few scarves/hats with the Bronco head on them.  Guess I shouldn't list them, right?

That's funny "I bought the material, I can do what I want with it!"

Was procrastinating this afternoon, hanging out on facebook, got into a mini conversation with
Larissa - love the swirls and the whole design.  Me I probably would have put in more, I get carried away with those things!  Sorry about your friend.

Teresa, wow, that's a bunch of applications, hopefully that perfect job will be here very soon!

Marty, yeah I had a "drawing" teacher tell me something similar once.  A few years later I took drawing classes in college, the teacher can make a huge difference!

Kimberly, soup sounds yummy!  Enjoy plating those seeds when the weather warms up!!!

Monika, stay warm!!!

Me, I'm hangin in there, I think!  Between the holidays, birthdays, watching Evie during the day, Kai on weekends, both kids Frid or Sat night (all night) numerous health related Dr wants all those screening exams a couple.  Haven't gotten things listed that will now need to wait till the next season/holiday they were for................hopefully I can find them!!!
Evie is almost done with her "regular" chemo treatments, will be going on maintenance  treatments soon.  Hair is starting to grow back, short soft fuzz for now.  WBC is up and down, has had a couple of trips to the ER, but not admitted.YAY!!  Turned 5 in Jan! YAY YAY!!!!
Kai, just turned 15, his eye has been stable, no detached retina (Yay!), but still no lens, hopefully some day! Hasn't had any bullying at school!!! YAY!!!!
Nichole, is taking a couple of classes, so yeah I get Evie every day!

Truly procrastinating........made a Highlight!
