I was wondering what I could do with these fun, geometric connectors I sell in my Etsy shop, and this is what I came up with, after spotting some great teal cube beads I had in my stash. I wire wrapped 7 of the 10x10mm teal glass cubes inbetween each antiqued bronze connector, and added the chain to finish it off. It's a long one, 27" in length, and fastens with a lobster clasp. Matching earrings dangle approximately 2 3/4" from the tops of lead and nickel free leverbacks.

When I was a kid, many moons ago, I used to ride through the really NICE neighborhoods of Kansas City, sort of dreambuilding, if you will...I would see sculptures in the yards not unlike the above one, and I thought, "Why would they want to junk up their nice yards with this crap?"

Now, I sorta like it...

Your wife is a talented decorator. Beautiful cakes, all of them. I have baked many cakes, but only decorated one, really. It was a shower cake for my S-I-L years ago. I freehandedly drew the design off of the napkin onto the cake icing with a toothpick, and proceeded to fill it in. It turned out really cute, I surprised myself.
