Good Evening Everyone, I’ve been a busy bee lately working with my Aunt to make a new bracelet for her to wear on stage (she sings with a chorus). She wanted “the more sparkle the better’… So I came up with this…








Measuring 23.5 inches long, it wraps around her wrist three times, made with 4mm and 6mm AB Swarovski and Jet. You can also wear it as a necklace too… She loves it! We will see tomorrow night how much it sparkles… lol

Jewelry / Wire Wrapped Cabochon

Hey Everyone!  Last year I became very interested in wire wrapping, but learning this fascinating technique was put on the back burner until….


Yep you got it NOW! Over the past several months I’ve been learning to wire wrap, creating link bracelets and wire wrapped rings. Fun, Fun and more fun! But here is my latest and greatest! 


I am very proud of this cabochon (btw was made by John Rasmussen aka gemlover) I used 20 ga silver filled square wire and 22 ga silver filled half round and a of course a tutorial for guidance. Not bad for a new-be! LOL

Technical Help in Creating / Magic Finding Inquiries

Has anyone used or currently uses a crimp called Magic Finding?


I found this while looking though a supply site yesterday. The Magic Finding is a special crimp bead for multi strand (up to seven) projects. Here is the link -http://www.themagicfinding.com/index.html


Interesting, but you must use special pliers, and the Omega Inserts (goes with the magic finding). Price for the pliers is 30.00, Price for findings range 5.00 ? 10.00, and the Omega Inserts range 1.80 ? 4.50 (prices from Rio Grande)


If anyone has any remarks or thoughts about this crimp bead I would love to hear about it.

Knitting, Crochet, Sewing and Needlework / Crochet Shawl Gorgeous Kelly Green

Using Kelly Green Vanna's Choice by Lion Brand I crocheted this shawl for my Mom.  It only took 4 weeks, 5 days, 8 hours, 43 mins, and 6 seconds. And wouldn’t you know, I ran out of yarn while I was half way through the edging, (15 minutes of the 43 minutes was going to pick up more yarn ;) )

Turned out pretty cool.  This is the 3 shawl I have made, first one was… well let’s just say Different.  Second one I made for a display where I taught a class (picture is below).  I forgot how warm these can be, even with the lattice pattern.






Well… Now I will start on a Tam requested by my son. He also informed me he has Dreadlocks… WOW!  Lives in Las Cruces NM… people that live there don’t have dreadlocks!  They do NOW! LOL

Good Morning All!  I would like to share a few new listings in my HAFshop with you today. I am mixing Swarovski pearls and crystals together, creating my finest Braidlets to date (well I think they are) lol

I am also trying magnetic clasps which are really strong, no need to worry about the Braidlet coming off with these clasps. My mom has arthritis and she finds the magnetic clasps easier to use than the toggles.

Just Life / Thank You !!!

First I would like to take this time to Thank all of you for your support, especially on Fridays (LOL) for the Fun Friday Finds.  I appreciate all the comments on the blog and the extra tweets , etc…  :D

Next, I am not one to spill my life on the internet… You may know or not know my presence has been low these days… My Mom is in the Hospital… (she is fine… NOW!) It was scary for a time. But we got through it!  So I am limited to time on the computer!  For whatever reason I thought I should share with you… my friends! 

Don’t worry.. I’ll be back soon!  LOL  Smiles and All!
