Gosh, I've been traveling and read back through what I've missed - I sure wish there were some way to comment on a lot of the posts individually. Know I'm pulling for those that need support and cheering for all the good.
That said, Monika, if you have the option of The Cleveland Clinic I got you covered, for both lodging and a companion. . .free can't get any cheaper. xo

I haven't tried that, but I've already spent waaaaaaaaay to much time editing all my photos to do it again! LOL  :o

I am absolutely good with Miss Andrea and like you, I still call my elders by Mr/Mrs last name, I have friends from high school that I still address by their last names like I did way back when.

A big hurray to you and the 78# - I think I've got honey envy!

Welcome! Be sure to put your links in your signature so that we can stalk you...errr..I mean so that we can find your shop/FB/twitter etc. (I really am kidding about the stalking part) Ditto what Sandi said, any questions, ask!

Thanks, all - I guess I hurt more for my niece than anything, she feels pretty lost after spending well over 30 years with him.

Totally waaaaay off the subject, but is it just me or does anyone else think it's just plain disrespectful for a child to call an adult by their first name? This is happening more and more to me and it drives me nuts, I guess it's just the way I was raised. Am I just not hip?

I've been a little concerned with the background in my photos, while they aren't horrible, they aren't great either. I have started editing them with fotofuze to remove the unwanted hue/darkness in the background and photoshop to smooth the shadows that fotofuze leaves and really I like it, my photos have consistent crisp, clean backgrounds (I've only finished the first page of items). I absolutely encourage anyone that has dark backgrounds (you know who you are!) I am not being mean, I really want to help, shoot me a message if you can't figure it out) -   give it a whirl. Photos mean a lot in online selling!

So, so sorry, Teresa, sending my deepest sympathy. Our nephew died  Monday after a 2-year battle with colorectal cancer. What an awful beast cancer is. Truly.

Happy belated birthday, Larissa!

I hate that your show wasn't very profitable, Sandi, but I love that it was a peaceful setting - you were probably put there to slow down for a day or two!

I had to check, I registered here in 2011 too. Pretty special friends here. I come and go like the wind the last year or so but it's so easy to pop in and feel the love, like I'd never been wayward.

Gum popping and noisy eaters GAHHHHHH!
Bad grammar ranks up there too, but I'm pretty lousy at proper punctuation usage so I'd best leave that one alone.

What is the difference between casting on and professionally casting I am really curios. I did learn how to cast on the way my Mom did, but noticed in my crochet and knit group here in my home the American girls do it different, so I wonder if I know the "professional way"....

I probably learned to knit the same way you do because I don't knit like those I've seen in videos etc.

Apparently even after all her lurking, *someone* stilldoesn't get that we genuinely care about one another here - if someone doesn't want to read about folk's day-to-day (good, bad or ugly) , hence the title "What are you doing today?", then there are about 50 other threads in the forum to be at. I think an apology to Larissa is warranted. That's my two cents.

Kimberly, I voted! I happen to own a piece of yours much like the one showcased ;)

Monika, hang in there, you'll be fixed up soon - prayers for you.

Sandi, it's gonna be gorgeous, love the pattern

I may not say a lot but I am around keeping an eye on the lot of you!  >:)
