I would love to be a part of this.
Can I sign up twice? "Reflections" would like to play too! Also, for what it's worth, I'd be happy to have who ever gets my name to include some bus. cards and I'll gladly pass them out.
When are we getting our assignments?
Is it too soon to mail the gift?
Well, I will send mine too while I still can see, but is there a certain day when we all should be opening it?
Or is it -just go for it, - when we receive it.... (shrugs shoulders)
Right, it's kind of a "pay it forward" thing, except it's more like paying it in a scribble.Larissa you have such a way with words! Pay it in scribble - I can go with that! lo
i sent mine priority mail over a week ago, so far no word.
John
Mine was sent on Wednesday. I hope it gets there soon, and I hope they like what I sent. It's hard to choose something for someone you don't know.
;D Is Beautiful Thank You so Much John ^_^
Mailed mine today. It's someone I don't know, so I hope she likes what I sent. I purchased it from my B&M store.
I mentioned that I received my lovely gift already and I even wore it already! It's from Lise at Lottie's Trinkets. This is what she sent me. :) Isn't it beautiful?

Fruit, nuts, candy and a fantastic mosaic picture frame arrived today. THANK YOU MONIKA!
I can not put the image in this message. Photobucket problem, so I have attached photo, look and enjoy as much as Debora and I did.

I am just wondering what the deal is with the post office. I thought Priority was supposed to be 2 to 3 days. I mailed my Secret Santa gift on Monday and tracking says it will be delivered tomorrow. That seems like regular first class mail to me.
I didn't think it would take long for someone to figure it out! You have such a unique style & talent. Not everyone could pull off what you do, and do so well. I think I understand why you were worried if I would like it or not, but believe me I absolutely love it. I think the tins are a really cool idea, and yeah when I opened it I immediately thought, it's sort of like a bracelet cupcake!
I must have been really tired last night, looking at those pictures this morning, they're kind of dark.
As I was walking back to my apartment, I was thinking oh I wonder what cool thing Lisa came up with - I am pretty sure I would have loved just about anything you sent me - but it is obvious you made this for me, and that is just so awesome. I need to go out today, and believe me it will be on my wrist! Thank you! :)
Monika - you're so sweet!

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that's a "uniqlets" piece. Absolutely gorgeous. It is pretty obvious it's a Uniqlets creation, isn't it!
And Kris, FYI, my friend LOVES her bear! She got her stuff two days ago and said it was totally worth the wait.
For anyone confused, I had another secret Santa exchange on another forum (non-handmade), and ordered one of Kris' bear ornaments from her reflections store as part of the gift. Amazing!
Hey, am I wrong here or wasn't there a Dec. deadline to SEND? Nobody should be worried yet! I wouldn't be worried until Christmas at least LOL

Genau! ("Precisely" for you non-German speaking friends)
I would never trust the post office, which is why I picked December 5 for the ship date! That gives the post office time to mishandle the packages!
It's like being a kid again on CHristmas morning! I love seeing a wonderful things everyone is getting and I hope those who have not gotten theirs yet get them soon! I hpe they didn't forget about it! :(
I got my secet santa gift today! Thanks so much Lori!
This is a picture of the beautiful necklace she sent.
Claydance, Pictures please :)
Wow, the gifts have all been so thoughtful. It reaffirms what I have already felt about the warmth of the people in the forum.
Ok. I just got my package and I must say I was near to tears when I opened it. It is very clear that Larissa poked around my wishlist to put together the perfect package - I am deeply touched.
Inside was a candle (from her shop and on my wishlist), bath salts (from her shop and on my wishlist), and TWO packs of incense from Delightful Scents here on H A (which I've purchased from before, on my wishlist AND is of superior quality) and a beautiful card which I assume is some of her photography (to be framed for sure!)

I'm blown away - Thank you SOO much, Larissa, your thoughfulness and generousity is unmatched! XO

Either that or the people forgot about it altogether. I would hate to think that, but experience has taught me that many are not so reliable. Maybe they need reminding?

Sandi, Don't stress over it. Whether or not I receive a package, this has been great fun.
I got my gift! I'm so excited! Thank you Danielle from Budding Creations! I attached a picture. I got glass dolphins, a beaded flower hair clip and a beaded ring! I'm also wondering, does everything have to be handmade? Because one of the gifts that I'm about to send isn't handmade, but the other is.Glad to hear you liked them :) and that you got the package! Merry Christmas!
no pics as my camera is busted, but i got a lovely pair of fingerless pink knitted gloves, a crochet shawl and a lovely christmas card.
Thanks secret Santa :)
Everyone is receiving such beautiful gifts. Thank you Sandi for organizing this. It doesn't look like the gift I sent has arrived yet. It is going a long, long way away from my home...9,779.55 miles if my research is correct! I hope it gets there by Christmas.

Beautiful!
Love, love what you did with it.... :-*
They are not stitch holders, they are stitch markers. When you're knitting something in a pattern and you need to know where the pattern starts/ends, you slip one on the needle. Then when you knit back, the marker keeps you even or lets you know you counted right (or wrong).

In my case it is usually counting wrong since when I am knitting there are constant "mom, can I" or "mom, where is" questions and I lose count! Getting better though as they get older I just start counting out loud and they know to wait until I stop to start talking again.
Where is the math fairy when ya need her eh.... :PThat is exactly what I would like to know.
Thank you SO MUCH Elizabeth, for the lovely set of stitch markers with their own hand knit little pouch for storage!!! What a terrific gift for a knitter... I just love them!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute stitch markers! I've never seen them made that way before or I should say with the zipper pull. I've seen plenty of beaded ones that look similar but they are usually beading wire. I would think these would be nicer and easier to use since it's soft.
I have stitch markers that are more like plastic safety pins that you can pin onto the stitch you need to keep track of. :D
I have never used these before and I don't knit, I crochet, wonder how they would be used since you probably could not slip them on the hook like with knitting. But it would definitely be helpful since I have to count and recount and rip out and start again cause I lose count. especially when I am doing tiny lacey crochet with like #10 thread, geez that is hard to count after a row is done to make sure I have enough stitches when I lose count along the way.Pam you could probably use something like those pretty stitch markers - just loop it through the stitch and back through itself - did that make sense?
I love it Kris! They should definitely be in your shop for next Christmas.thank you
Well, its Christmas.....I wish you all a very blessed one..... :-*Thank you Monika!
Kris that tree is beautimus, yea, deffo store material....I agree Lisa....
A very warm 'THANK YOU' to Pam of "A Bead Thing" for her choice of a gift to me...they are a Crochet Flower Necklace in gold and brown with a little bling in the center of flower AND a Chanille Necklace with pearl seed beads. Already wore the Chanille Necklace to our Family Christmas Dinner!!! Of course, I gave you the credit when it was being admired! No, really!!! Thank you so very, very much Pam.Not offended at all, just glad that you received them and that you are enjoying them. I hope the health issues are resolved or at least on the way to being non existent and I too hope that you have a blessed Christmas.
Posting late because of some health issues in family, so please don't be too offended I waited so long. A Blessed and Merry Christmas to you. Mary
Kris, that's beautiful!
It seems that my gift recipient isn't going to post a picture of what I sent, so I will!
It's a stained glass "Bling Tree"

I covered an AOL box with wrapping paper to put it in - looked really good. I took pictures of it, but the pictures turned out horrid!
This has been fun!
M E R R Y C H R IS T M A S Everyone!
Just the fact that the majority that signed up followed through was amazing! I know that Andrew and I always hold our breath on things like this and are prepared for the inevitable "drop outs" but all in all the presents were wonderful and I'm so happy that so many obviously put in great pains with their gifts! Huge success!
Oh man thank you so much! These earrings, bracelet, this hand painted box and the wonderful ornaments were just fabulous!I'm so glad you like them. and you're welcome. ;D
Debbie & Amanda thank you very much!
