I am new to the forum. My name is April. I am a jewelry designer and lapidarist. 

I love working with silver, and I am developing a fondness for copper now as well. I also enjoy cutting my stones and wire wrapping them.

Hello, My name is Sandy - shop names is sandscrochet.
I have been crocheting for more years than I care to remember. LOL I specialize in baby items- but, of course, can do most anything.
I Live in So. Ga. and it is very hot right now - but I think it is that way all over.
I hope you all will visit my little shop as I will be adding more as time goes on.  I am also on Etsy and Zibbett.  Just joined Zibbet but, have been with Etsy for 3 yrs.
I love my work- I crochet 12-15 hrs every day.

I am a creative and crafty man who lives in China that would like to share my artistic ability with people from all over the world. I spend most of my spare time making papercuts so you could say I have an obsession.

I first learned this intricate art from my grandparents. They had family business selling art in a shop along the art street in downtown as well they taught in an Art School and spent most of their time -even their last days- on the art they were obsessed with. Later, my grandparents passed away in same month and I had to continue my training on my own. That was ten years ago now.

Now the family members are like scattered sands, busy with careers and busy lives in different places. Papercuts is not the family business anymore as no one seems to have the love of this craft anymore, the popularity has dropped off. I hope to carry on this old tradition among the young people of China and everywhere else in the World.

I was very excited when I found ETSY in September of 2008. It has given me the opportunity to share my art with others all over the World. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio, I hope you have some time to view my store. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
