My name is Gregg, I live in Warren County Missouri. I have always loved taking photos but never got into it a lot until digital arrived. I used to have a Nikon Fm camera from the 70's. When I first saw the small cheaper point and shoot Digital cameras I had no interest at all, then I saw the Nikon DSLR digital cameras and was amazed, they looked and felt just like the old ones. I bought a Nikon D-50 and a 55mm-200 Nikkor lens in April-06. I have been hooked ever since. As you can see, I mostly take nature photos. I am fascinated at the beauty that God has created. Most all of my small bird and insect photos were taken on my property. As of 3/2011 the camera I use is a Canon 7D, and Canon 400mm F/5.6 L lens,Canon 70mm-200mm F/4 L lens. Please stop by my shop and leave any advice, I only have 2 items but will be adding more daily. Have a great day...Gregg    8)

Happy Monday! My name is Kerri and I found this site after a ton of research. I chose this site for not only the price, but also have found the customer service quick and kind. I make jewelry. It is mostly earrings, but I have been known to do everything from pins to necklaces to even bookmarks. I love to bead! I use a verity of colors and styles of beads. I try to stay away form resins or plastics. I feel that staying away form those help the jewelry to shine. I am not saying that plastics are bad, I just choose not to use them. It is slow going, getting everything up. However, it looks like it is going to be well worth the effort! If any long time members want to give me any tips, I am all ears! Best of luck to everyone with a shop here.  :D

Hi,

I'm Felicia and
I am inspired by the things I see and observe everyday (eg. fashion, materials, environment, architecture, etc). I love to be inspired and enjoy the art of making with a range of materials. I love to DIY and gains insights from the workshops I attend and learning from other makers around. I then try to mesh the various materials up together harmoniously to create unique accessories to portray my style and what I am inspired by.

Glad to be part of this forum to learn more about making and sharing what I know too! :)

I'm Karen.  So glad I found this site, love the small town, personable vibe here! I'm a knitter, sewist and jewelry maker, and a general dabbler of all arts and crafts.  As much as I like making things, I also love hearing about the history, inspiration and creative process of how people found their crafts and creative sparks -- it's the secret ingredient of why handmade is so special.
Just opened a small shop, PeaceStitchStudio,  and will be setting up soon. Looking forward to a new journey.  Thanks so much for this supportive space!
